Songs About Women (Black Lives Matter Version) reorders the songs from my original album and leads with a never before heard track available exclusively with a full album digital download.

With this new track list, I match the emotions and colors that I feel reflected in these songs to my experience being a black man in America.

I dedicate 'black and blue' to Breonna Taylor, a black woman who died at the hands of police officers in March of 2020.

I'm from New Orleans. Music is in my blood. My ancestor Papa John Joseph played bass with Buddy Bolden and King Oliver. He died on stage playing music, and generations later, I have inherited his undying passion and proclivity for music-making, whether that be playing jazz trombone or singing R&B.
